We are looking for an electrical designer for a leading product company in the defense industry located in Arboga. The company plays a central role in protecting people and communities and actively contributes to a safer world. Here, you will be offered a technically challenging and varied role where you become an important part of the development of advanced systems.

As an electrical designer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining electrical assembly drawings and circuit diagrams. You will play a central role in product development and collaborate with several departments to ensure quality and functionality.

Your tasks include:

• Management of articles and article structures in the PLM tool IFS Surf.
• Creation and updating of technical documentation.
• Product improvements and adaptation of existing solutions.
• Technical support to production, purchasing, and sales/pre-study organization.
• Participation in improvement projects to optimize and streamline electrical designs.

• Technical education at the college or university level, or equivalent experience in electrical design.
• Knowledge of electrical design and installation.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Previous work with product management systems (PDM) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of telecommunications and electronics development is a plus.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary

Scope: Full-time, permanent
